ECOQUEST LaundryPure™ The Catalytic Chamber plus Silver Nano-Ions is the “heart” of the system. 
 Silver Nano Ion Generator: Silver Nano Ions are created and introduced into the water stream.
Two 14” high intensity UVX Catalytic Lights. RCI Catalytic Target Chamber: RCI gasses are generated here through a Photo Catalytic Reaction. These gasses include Oxygen, Hydro Peroxides, and Super Oxide Ions. RCI Pickup tube for the Advanced Oxidation Gasses are pulled into the intake and routed to the Venturi Injector Point. Venturi Injector Point [VIP] Gasses from the Pickup Tube are fed into the the VIP for the feed into the water stream. Quartz Glass Photo-Catalytic Reaction Chamber is where the advanced oxidation gasses which are entrained in the water are broken down into hydroxyl radicals by the 254nm light coming from the high intensity UVX bulbs. ECOQUEST LaundryPure™ senses power being drawn from the washing machine and automatically turns on the LaundryPure™ System. It stays on throughout the wash cycle. As a safety feature, a safety valve is on the inlet to shut the water off to the LaundryPure™ System as well as to the Washing Machine whenever the washer is turned off.
Once the Washing Machine power is turned on, and the LaundryPure™ is activated, the safety valve opens and water flows through an injector and then into the Reactor Chamber. LaundryPure hooks up to a wash machine to treat incoming water with silver ions for killing odor-causing bacteria, and the cleaning power of oxygen and bubbling peroxides to break down and lift away grime, without the need for detergent or hot water. * Note: Extensive field studies have shown that under normal conditions laundry detergent is not necessary. However, stubborn stains or heavily soiled items may still need to be pre-treated with spot removers or bleach. As a rule, if pre-treating of stubborn stains or heavily soiled items was needed in the past when using laundry detergent, there is a chance that pre-treatment may still be needed when washing with LaundryPure™.  LaundryPure is designed to work in conjunction with your washing machine, using cold water, silver ions, and Radiant Catalytic Ionization oxidizers to clean clothes. As your washer begins to fill, LaundryPure will open its internal valve and turn on both the UV bulbs and the Silver Ion Probe. Once the washing machine has been inactive for five (5) minutes, the LaundryPure will switch off (internal valve closed, UV bulbs off, Silver Ion Probe off). |
